The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is celebrating a decade in the Maldives with a special 10-day anniversary programme from 10 to 20 November 2026.
Marking ten years since the resort welcomed its first guests in November 2016, the celebration will bring together international culinary talent, award-winning mixology, wellness and creative experiences, family activities and marine conservation initiatives.

Set on a private island in Dhaalu Atoll, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has built its reputation around distinctive architecture, signature St. Regis service, luxury villas, dining and island experiences, alongside a strong connection with its marine environment.
Ten Years of St. Regis Maldives Vommuli
The anniversary programme celebrates the resort’s journey since its opening in 2016, highlighting some of the elements that have shaped its identity over the past decade.
The resort is known for architecture inspired by its natural surroundings, bespoke service and access to a vibrant house reef. Its anniversary programme brings these elements together with a selection of special experiences designed around food, art, wellness and the ocean.
The celebration begins on 10 November with a sunset cocktail reception overlooking the Indian Ocean, bringing together guests, associates and partners.
The evening will feature a selection of memorable cocktails from the resort’s past decade, followed by a special beach dinner under the stars featuring dishes associated with the resort’s dining experiences.
A Living Tribute to Ten Years
Marine conservation will also play an important role in the anniversary.
In partnership with Reefscapers, guests will participate in a special coral restoration initiative by creating a coral frame shaped like the number 10.
The frame will be installed on the resort’s house reef, creating a living tribute to the first decade of The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort while supporting its ongoing coral restoration efforts.
The initiative adds an environmental dimension to the anniversary, connecting the resort’s milestone with the marine ecosystem surrounding Vommuli Island.
Art and Mindfulness on Vommuli
From 11 to 12 November, guests of different ages will be invited to take part in Mandala String Art workshops in collaboration with Fann Art Therapie.
Inspired by mindfulness and art therapy, the workshops will allow participants to create their own artwork while reflecting on their island experience.
The creative programme adds another dimension to the anniversary celebrations, combining artistic expression with the peaceful surroundings of Vommuli Island.
Award-Winning Mixology at The Whale Bar
The anniversary programme will also welcome internationally recognized bartending talent.
On 11 November, Felice Capasso, recipient of the World Class Global Bartender of the Year 2025 title, will make a guest appearance at The Whale Bar.
For the occasion, Capasso has created the Bright Mary, his contemporary interpretation of the signature St. Regis Bloody Mary tradition.
The experience adds a global mixology element to the resort’s anniversary celebrations while continuing one of the most recognizable cocktail traditions associated with the St. Regis brand.
A Fragrance-Inspired Experience with Farina
Fragrance will take centre stage from 14 to 16 November, when Louise Farina, a ninth-generation descendant of the historic Farina est. 1709 fragrance house, joins the anniversary programme.
Guests can participate in perfume masterclasses on 14 and 16 November, while an immersive dining experience on 15 November will draw inspiration from the signature notes of the Original Eau de Cologne.
A limited-edition Farina-inspired cocktail will also be available at The Whale Bar from 14 to 20 November.
Michelin-Starred Culinary Experience
The anniversary programme will conclude with a major culinary highlight featuring acclaimed German chef Alexander Herrmann.
Herrmann, a chef, restaurateur, television personality and bestselling author, is behind the two-Michelin-starred AURA by Alexander Herrmann & Tobias Bätz.
On 19 November, he will host a bespoke wine-pairing dinner at Decanter, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort’s intimate underground wine cellar.
The culinary programme will continue on 20 November with a masterclass, giving guests an opportunity to gain insight into Herrmann’s contemporary approach to gastronomy.
Celebrating a Decade of Island Experiences
The 10-day anniversary programme brings together many of the experiences that define a contemporary luxury Maldives holiday: exceptional dining, creative workshops, cocktails, wellness, family activities and marine conservation.
